Referee Program:

All approved referees will receive training before the season begins, plus a $30 stipend per training or game (to be paid by check at the end of the season). Referees who ref at least three games will also receive a $50 bonus at the end of the season. Please reach out to berlinvtathletics@gmail.com if interested.

Weather: We play in all different kinds of weather except for severe weather or thunder/lightning storms. Please have your player dress appropriately for maximum comfort.

Gear: Cleats (no metal studs) and shin guards are required to play, starting on the 1st/2nd grade team. Uniforms and practice balls are provided by the program.

Practice/Game Schedule: Our teams are coached by volunteers and the exact times of practices and games vary year to year based on coach availability. Here are examples of what to expect for each team:

PreK-Grade 2: Saturday morning practices, 1-2 jamoborees per season

Grade 3/4: 2 practices per week, 1 game per week, 1-2 jamborees per season

Grade 5/6: 3 practices per week, 1 game per week, 1-2 jamborees per season
